Management Engineering
Course Description
The Master’s in Management Engineering trains professionals with strong methodological foundations to design, manage, and organize complex systems in manufacturing and services, building on prior studies.
It develops advanced knowledge and tools to:

Solve complex organizational and managerial problems in manufacturing firms, service companies, and public administrations using robust, data-driven approaches.

Manage production factors, including human resources, in relation to economic, organizational, and technological issues and opportunities.

Address technological and environmental change, and drive innovation and optimization of business processes.

Manage industrial and organizational processes within complex, international supply chains.

Handle finance, strategy, and markets in a global context.
Key distinguishing features:

International focus: emphasis on global economic–industrial relations.

Data-driven decision-making: methods and tools for data analysis and managerial decisions.

Integration of management, finance, and technology: using technological innovation to transform business and operations.
Study path (2 years) covers three areas:

Economic–Managerial: advanced economics, finance, management, and organization (resource management, process design and control, international markets, entrepreneurship).

Technological–Industrial: digital technologies in industrial, production, and logistics processes (operations, logistics and distribution, quality management, product lifecycle, service design, complex systems).
- Complementary Skills: engineering and modeling competencies in mathematics and statistics, plus other cross-disciplinary skills.
Eligibility
Hold a first-level degree (bachelor’s / 3‑year university diploma), a specialist/master’s degree, or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized as suitable.
Requirements

Curricular requirements (ECTS):

At least 30 ECTS in basic scientific subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics) from the listed SSDs (e.g., MAT/02–09, FIS/01/03/04, CHIM/03/07, SECS‑S/02, INF/01, ING‑INF/05).

At least 30 ECTS in Management Engineering disciplines from the listed SSDs, with at least 18 ECTS in the L‑9 “Industrial Engineering” core areas (ING‑IND/16, ING‑IND/17, ING‑IND/35, ING‑INF/04).

Personal preparation: assessed based on the final grade of the bachelor’s degree.

English proficiency: minimum B2 level (or equivalent) required for admission.
