The Economics and Finance Laurea (Bachelor’s) at the University of Bologna is a 3‑year, fully English‑taught undergraduate programme designed to give you strong quantitative and analytical tools to understand and work in modern economic and financial systems.

• Qualification: You must hold a secondary school diploma that gives you access to university-level study in your country (equivalent to the Italian diploma di maturità)

• Timing: You can apply even if you haven’t yet obtained the diploma, but you must have it by the deadline stated in the call (typically by 31 December of the enrolment year), otherwise your enrolment is cancelled.

• Subject profile: The programme expects a solid background in mathematics and comfort with quantitative reasoning; strong performance in maths and English is important for a competitive application.

Language requirement

• The programme is entirely in English, so you need at least B2-level English proficiency.

• If you take the Digital SAT (which is in English), the university considers this as meeting the language requirement; the essay part is not required.

Entrance exam and selection (restricted access)

• Economics and Finance has restricted access with an entrance exam and a limited number of places (around 120 seats).
